If I book Parkhoeve as a vacation home, will there be other guests present?

No, the entire house is private for your use, including the wellness area. However, there might be guests staying in one of our glamping tents, but they do not have access to the vacation house or the wellness area.

Who is the vacation house suitable for?

The vacation house is suitable for groups of up to 20 people. If you need more sleeping places, you can book our 2 glamping tents, each accommodating 4 people. It is ideal for families, groups, associations, teambuilding, companies, cyclists, and friend groups.

 

Can I have a party in the vacation house?

It is not intended to use the vacation house as a party venue for external groups without permission. However, you can have a party for the guests of the vacation home as long as it does not disturb the neighbors.

 

Do you have a space where we can all sit together?

Yes, you can sit with the whole group in both the veranda and the sitting areas.

 

Are towels provided?

Each person gets 1 large and 1 small towel, 1 bathrobe, and 1 bath mat. Extra towel packages (€9.50 per person) can be reserved by sending us an email (info@parkhoeve.com).

What does the kitchen package include?

4 towels, 4 dishcloths, 1 PMD bag, and 1 general waste bag. Extra kitchen packages (€7.50) can be reserved by sending us an email (info@parkhoeve.com).

 

Are the beds made upon arrival?

Yes.

Can I smoke in the vacation house?

No, smoking is not allowed in the vacation house.

 

Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed in the glamping tents and on the ground floor. Pets are not allowed in the bedrooms.

 

I forgot something in the vacation house. What should I do?

Send us an email (info@parkhoeve.com) with details of what you lost, and we will check among the lost items.

 

Does the vacation house have an elevator?

No, there is no elevator.

Each room has a Nespresso coffee machine and a kettle.

 

Does the vacation house have free Wi-Fi?

Yes.

 

How many people can sleep in the vacation house?

The vacation house alone can accommodate 19 people. If you also book the tents, it can accommodate 28 people.

 

How many bedrooms do you have?

We have:

- 7 double bedrooms with bathrooms
- 1 triple room with a bathroom
- 1 double room with a sink, separate shower, and toilet
- 2 glamping tents with 2 double beds each (can be booked separately)

 

Can we have breakfast in the morning?

If you would like a freshly made breakfast buffet in the morning, please notify us at least one month before arrival.

 

Does the vacation house have baby beds and high chairs?

There are 3 baby beds and 9 high chairs available. Please notify us if you need a baby bed.

 

How are the rooms arranged?

8 bedrooms, the glamping tents, and the meeting room are equipped with air conditioning.

 

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there is a large free parking area on our premises.

 

Can we rent bicycles?

Yes, reservations can be made via www.parkhoeve.com/fietsverhuur.

 

Can I store my own bike somewhere safely?

Yes, you can place your bike in the bike storage area.

Will there be someone at the vacation house upon arrival and departure?

Is there a BBQ available?

Yes, there is a charcoal BBQ available. Please remember to bring charcoal and clean the BBQ after use.

 

Is the house cleaned, or do I need to clean it myself?

We only ask you to:

- Collect all sheets and towels in one place
- Put furniture back in its place
- Empty the trash bins
- Wash and put away dishes
- Clean the BBQ

- Close all windows and door

 

Is there staff present?

One of our colleagues may occasionally come by for garden maintenance, necessary repairs, or administration.

A supermarket is just 6 minutes from Parkhoeve.

 

Can I leave my waste at Parkhoeve? 

Yes, that is possible if you sort your waste and put it in the correct garbage bags and containers. 

Sorting should be done as follows: 

- food scraps: loose in the green container

- plastic, metal and beverage cartons: in the blue PMD bag in the container with blue bags

- residual waste: in the gray household waste bag in the container with gray bags

- paper: in the container with paper

- glass: in the bottle bank

100 euros per container will be charged if waste is not sorted or if waste is thrown loose in the container.

Can I charge my car in Parkhoeve?

No, that is not allowed.  Per day that a car is charged, 100 euros will be charged after the stay.

​

Are there charging points for electric cars at the vacation house?

The nearest charging station is 4 minutes from the vacation house.

Yes, a 15-minute walk will take you to the bus stop at "Genendijk kerk."

Do we need to bring our own coffee?

Each room has a Nespresso machine with 4 pods. The coffee machine in the veranda is filled with coffee beans, which will last for a few days.
